Rite 90.1 FM operates as part of Farm Management Services Ltd. (FMSL) an integrated agricultural based entity that began its operations 8 years ago in Somanya, in the Yilo Krobo District in the Eastern region of Ghana.

Initially operated as a community radio station, FMSL started to use radio to inform, educate and focus on agricultural related issues to help local farmers in the surrounding communities.

Rite FM was set up and it had the same original goals of bringing various farming experiences to inform and motivate others to join in the promotion of agricultural development. The approach was simple: promote farming business through the medium of Radio i.e. Use radio to focus on agricultural and social development issues. The radio has grown to include a broader group by reaching some parts of the Greater Accra, Volta and Eastern regions.
